In every great movement for change, there are quiet leaders behind the scenes—people who dedicate their lives not for recognition, but to lift others. At Touch Foundation for Change, one such leader is Anthony White, co-founder, mentor, and lifelong youth advocate.

With more than 38 years of experience in the transportation industry, Anthony brings a calm, steady presence to the foundation’s mission of helping youth and young adults rise above hardship. But his true impact comes from something deeper: a profound belief that every child deserves love, support, and the freedom to dream.

A Life Dedicated to Mentorship and Service

Anthony has spent decades serving young people through faith-based organizations, where he worked as a youth program administrator and former deacon. In these roles, he became a trusted figure to hundreds of youth, helping them develop life skills, confidence, and emotional resilience.

His approach is simple but powerful: show up, speak truth, and make sure every young person knows they are not alone. As Anthony puts it, “Every child should know that someone truly cares about their future.”

He has coached girls’ softball for six years, t-ball for four years, and boys’ baseball for two, often volunteering his time on the sidelines and behind the scenes. His deep involvement in youth sports goes far beyond the field—it’s about building confidence, teamwork, and trust.

The Heart of Touch Foundation for Change

As co-founder of Touch Foundation for Change, Anthony works side by side with his wife and fellow co-founder, Carolyn White, to design and deliver programs that meet youth where they are. While Carolyn’s background brings structure, strategy, and professional training, Anthony brings compassion, real-world insight, and steady mentorship.

Together, they built the foundation’s 8-Step Holistic Program, which guides young people from crisis to community leadership through counseling, education, legal advocacy, mentorship, and more. While Anthony avoids the spotlight, his contributions can be felt in every mentorship pairing, in every coaching session, and in the unwavering emotional support he provides behind the scenes.

Why Anthony’s Leadership Matters

Today, many nonprofits and youth organizations are looking for transformational—not transactional—leadership. Anthony exemplifies this kind of leadership. He doesn’t just advise from a distance—he participates. He mentors. He listens.

In a time when many young people face isolation, violence, and systemic obstacles, leaders like Anthony offer something rare: stability, faith, and a human connection. His vision for youth empowerment goes beyond programming—it’s personal. It’s generational. And it’s working.

Looking Ahead: A Legacy of Uplifting Others

Now based in Dallas, Texas, Anthony continues to serve as a mentor and leader through Touch Foundation for Change. His voice is instrumental in shaping long-term strategy, and his legacy continues to inspire volunteers, staff, and participants alike.

As the foundation expands its programs and community partnerships, Anthony remains focused on one goal: ensuring that youth and young adults believe in their own potential and have the tools to achieve it.
